This is, I think, an excellent example of the classic Fender Telecaster. Simple, functional, toneful. I replaced the original electronics soon after I bought the guitar. The original frets were replaced with tall vintage frets in early 2007 by Dan Erlewine of Athens, Ohio. Dan leveled the fretboard, installed the frets, fashioned a beautifully shaped and polished bone nut, and cleaned and lubed the truss rod adjuster. In the spring of 2009, the frets we leveled and crowned at Elderly Instruments in Lansing, Michigan. As you can imagine, the guitar plays beautifully.
